Jenson Button is well-known as one of the smoothest drivers in F1 history. From an early age in karting, he adapted his driving style to be smooth. Jenson was smooth on the steering in order to carry the most speed through a corner without scrubbing the tyres and speed. 

To achieve this, he preferred a more understeery car setup with a strong, grippy rear end. This allowed him to carry more speed mid-corner than others. To carry the most speed mid-corner, he used a U-shaped racing line. Not only did this allow him to be smooth, but it allowed him to maximise the aerodynamic grip at higher mid-corner speeds.
