Esteban Ocon is known for his smooth driving style and ability to extract the most out of the cars on a wet track. Initially, he crafted his driving in Formula Renault and GP3 cars, being skilled enough to skip F2 and progress into the Manor Racing team to gain valuable experience in F1. After crafting his F1 driving style over 8 years, it is clear that he has a refined and smooth driving style. Ocon is also slightly inclined to more understeery car setups, similar to Sergio Perez during their time as teammates in the 2017-18 Force India.
